Interfaith Moral Action on Climate has endorsed the Call to Action issued by "Fast for the Earth", an IMAC endorser, in connection with 350.org's appeal for nationwide "Draw the Line on the Keystone XL" actions on September 21st.
Specifically, IMAC is endorsing "Fast for the Earth's" call to a day of interfaith fasting, prayer and action on Saturday, September 21st. We recognize that fasting on the Sabbath may not be possible for Jewish congregations, and so invite participation in other types of actions, outlined in the materials below, to demonstrate support for the aims of the day.
For those who are comfortable doing so, we ask that you consider taking the following actions and urge others to do the same:
1. Sign the Petition urging President Obama to reject the Keystone XL Pipeline.
2. Endorse the Fast for Earth. Add your name, and/or that of your organization, as an Endorser of the “Draw the Line on Keystone XL / Draw Closer to Creation" action. (To endorse, please contact Fast for the Earth via the Contact" link at the top of their website.
